Pop in a pod, press a button and you’ve got a no fuss, no hassle, café-style coffee at a fraction of the price. Nescafé launched their range of fun and stylish Dolce Gusto capsule coffee machines into the New Zealand market and Network had the pleasure of kicking off the caffeinated campaign with the energy and enthusiasm it deserved.
Launching at a time when there was plenty happening in the media and a few other competitor machines making their way onto the shop shelves, our challenge was to ensure the new kitchen staple didn’t go unnoticed.
Inviting a select group of foodies, lifestyle media, bloggers and influencers to a breakfast event on the Auckland waterfront, we gave them a chance to play with the various models of machine and try the range of capsule flavours. Kicking off the day with a fresh café-style breakfast, the event was a great success and gave guests a flavour of the Dolce Gusto experience.
Receiving great editorial coverage in some of New Zealand’s most widely-read magazines and newspaper supplements, we had an overwhelming number of delighted attendees and a growing group of online ambassadors who regularly post and chat about Dolce Gusto.
